I was introduced to windsurfing in 2017. Prior to that, I have been paddling the waters in the west and east coast of Malaysia.
It was February 2017 when I participated my first Stand Up Paddle race in Kuantan where I have met a lot of amazing and talented locals who had encouraged me to pursue windsurfing; which I decided to accept the challenge, and boy--- it really was challenging!
Windsurfing is almost equivalent to a crossfit workout-- only everything is always a lot more fun in the water. It is not only about the health benefits that we learned and gained from the sports, but how we are able to read our surroundings. Often times we step out of our house without realising the force of nature that surrounds us.

The beauty of windsurfing is how much you learn to appreciate and enjoy the smallest pleasure in life and how you interact with nature -- reading the wind direction, catching the wind with your sail and cruise along the waves or blast over the flat waters.
